Christopher Coursey
Beginning 23rd season at Mansfield High School as the girls' golf coach and science teacher. Graduated from Texas Tech University and originally pursued a position in Lubbock, TX as an Exercise and Rehab Specialist. After 3 years, gained teacher certification and became a high school and junior high coach. Prior to coming to Mansfield ISD, coached at Ralls ISD and Idalou ISD serving these south plains schools as a football assistant, junior high girls' basketball coach, head tennis coach, head boys' basketball coach and head golf coach. Moved to Mansfield in August 2000.
In 22 years, the MHS girls' golf teams have won 17 district titles and qualified for the regional tournament every year. The Lady Tigers have also qualified for the state tournament in 2005, 2006, 2013, 2021 and 2022. Chris and his wife, Leigh, have 2 children- both MHS Tiger Golf alumni, Tucker (2012) and Peyton (2017).
